Re: LS/VTEC? ?
I mean im not saying its like an 11 second car because its not but for what it is being mildly built she is strong! She definately isnt a stock ls/vtec though....im not going to say whats inside the engine but if you wanna pm me panda if your intrested in knowing I can let you in.....I see that you have a nice old school ride also.....power to weight is what I was looking for that why I trade my 92hb for the 91hb. Maybe little difference but weight is weight.
But when I get that new transmission in there and finish building her we will see what she can do on the track..not into street racing anymore or drag racing. . I also don"t have mommy and daddys money I work two jobs for this shit!!!!

Re: LS/VTEC? ?
i hear ya. i jsut thought it was funny what you said. I believe ya man, you dont have to prove nothing to me. I have a security clearance for my job if that makes a difference though. I use to have a crx . i sold it and now i miss it.
i miss my all motor set up too .
but back to this guys thread, if the motor is built properly you will have NO issue at all. I had a 205whp 153ft/lb ls/vtec and drove it every day for almost two years and never had a problem out of it. NOT ONE!

Re: LS/VTEC?
IF built properly, a lsvtec motor will last a while.
I have several friends who daily drive lsvtec setups and all of which hold it down. One of which has been daily'd for 2 years now, making 200+whp.
I'd just put some pistons and rods in your gsr motor. Utilize the factory crank girdle and daily it. The torque you'll gain from the lsvtec IMO won't be worth the extra money you'll spend for the lsvtec conversion, building the ls block etc etc.
