well, matt (Mr.2) and josh (mr2 tner) came over to check out the two today! matt agreed that there is no damn torque! we checked for throwing codes but both codes thrown were from my fuel cut. obviously my car is not even as close as fast as it should be now (roughly 13.5 give or take a tenth) cause its probably not even a 14 second car! i need to get a compression check but i don't know where to take it! and since i really can't tell you what i think is wrong, cause i don't know! i'll tell you all my mods and everything i have new!

 

mods:
ct26 upgraded 50 trim w/ 10,000 miles
ko downpipe
turbo xs boost controller
greddy sp exhaust, w/ gutted cat on bpipe
intake
ngk wires and bosch plugs
homemade fuel cut defenser
act stage 4 clutch and pressure plate

new parts:
all new belts including timing belt
all new seals dealing w/ timing belt and turbo
fuel filter
water temp and coolant temp sensor
all new engine mounts
all new clamps and vacum lines
new bosch oxygen sensor
recently cleaned throttle body

as you can see, i've basically replaced everything you can think of! so i have no clue why i have no torque and am gettin bad detonation in full throttle in 4th gear! if anyone has any ideas of whats wrong or who could do my compression check it would be appreciated!

 

hey! check your base cam timing. seriously. you may have done it like four times when you were in there. but do it again! and when you do it, watch as you rotate the crank! after that, check your ignition timing again.
i saw your car @ wacky wednesday, but i didn't see anyone around. when i looked again, the car was gone!

i have no clue how to do anything you just said! would timing make that much effect on my motors torque? oh, i parked down across from danny's mr2 turbo and was there basically until everyone left the parking lot so i don't know how i could have missed you? let me know if you ever would like to take a look at the car.

 

yes timing could affect your torque that much and i wouldnt put it past toyota to fuck it up that bad when they put your timing belt on. i can check it for you sometime...
