JDM H22 will not crack vtec help please!!!
Perhaps an H series is different, but a B series, on a P28, stopped at 3K when it went into limp-in. The P30 I worked on did the same when it didn't detect proper programming, and put the computer in limp-in. Fixed problem, and battery hard reset, and both went to working normally. The one not working VTEC still turned up as if it had VTEC. I'm fairly sure his oil pressure is low, as he has tried a working ECU, a different working sensor, the sensor engages properly and is free of debris, but it's not getting input from the pressure switch to cut it on as it should. I say it's mechanical, because working parts say so. It should be working. But, he doesn't have an oil pressure gauge, and I have no way to determine if its low....
P28 and P30 ECU's I've had in limp both stopped at 3000-3200 RPM....

if all else fails , manually check oil pessure at head , i had one in shop, 80psi at back of block and on guage , 40 at head {vtec needs 50+), ran a line like a ls/vtec
worked from then on !
worked from then on !
Thanks bro very useful info i checked it at the block and its good, but not at the the head ill check it ASAP thanks again for everyones help!!! If im not getting the correct pressure at the head what should i look at from there? Its not throwing codes for anything other then EGR i pretty possitive its wired correctly. Also compression is good and it will rev t 85 like the ECU is set for.
me and my boy will fix it tomorrow nite. we will work some thin out just remind me about it when i call you to pickthe hood up so i can grab what i need
