even a buyer shopping for an FI car will not pay anywhere near what you will be spending on it

Edit: and I'm speaking in terms of turboing an originally NA car

Aftermarket parts don't increase value of a car, put it back to stock and sell it and your chances are better. Then sell the aftermarket parts on a forum and try to get back what you can...of course this isn't always 100% true in every case.

When it comes to privately selling the car to an individual, well it just depends on the individual and how bad they want the car.

You wouldn't get what you put into it that's for sure, and I'm not sure I'd buy it if it was originally NA. I'd have to check over a bunch of stuff to see what condition the rest of the engine is in.
