I drive my car almost every day as well, but I arm my alarm and put on my locks every time I leave it at night. If you have full insurance and enough money to pay the raised premium for filing claims, I guess you are good, but I prefer to have my bike 'not stolen' and protected from the elements whenever I am parking it for the night or longer.
I hear you. I got a bunch of rate quotes and I think I will be getting comp and collision which should cover theft as well.
I too would like my bike to remain "not stolen"...
you can make it up/down 3-4 stairs without a ramp. might want a friend there to help a lil but its def. doable
I was thinking that also might work. Im going to look at making some sort of a ramp today with a board and one of those truck-bed ramp kits sold at Lowe's
Worst case it costs me a few bucks and I end up not using it after all.
My GF suggested I walk it through the condo instead, but I dont know how well that would work out.
or if you have a friend/family member with a garage/shed to put the bike in you should do that too... i live in an apartment but dont want my bike stolen so i keep it at my girlfriends garage in chesapeake and i live in va beach... just a thought
Va has pretty much the perfect climate because it doesn't get bitter cold or extremely hot southern Ca is the only other place where I would say the climate is nicer
VA is probably one of the better places and has a solid 7-8 month riding season. The heat/humidity/storms/rain got me when it was spring and summer and then the cold got me during the winter. East coast cold is different than midwest and west coast cold...really got to me
I'm in San Diego now and there's no comparison between the weather and the roads here to Virginia It is absolute heaven here. In over a month here it's been perfect riding weather every single day and just amazing riding.
