No he didnt hooked up to the battery, i mean he is stupid but not that stupid..LOL. Now yesterday i took my car to my other friend, not the dumb ass who installed the gauge and he told me that it might be the ecu that is giving me problems.

Wow, that must be a seriously fucked up gauge install to affect whether VTEC is engaging or not. Find some competent help and get that fixed..

My friend told me that it wasnt the gauge the one that fucked up the vtec. He told that the ecu is actually the one that it's fucked up, cuz yesterday after re-starting the ecu the vtec started working. So now i want to go from obd2 to obd1. Now i think what fucked the ecu was a vtec controller that i had.

dude, simple fix, if your muffler bearing is bad if won't allow the exhaust to flow fast enough for vtec to hit, replace that and add some new blinker fluid, thats guaranteed to add like 15 horses
