The point is that cops read this board, when they see about the shop doing illegal exhaust they may just heas on down there and have a look. After they shut the place down you will have one less place to have your exhaust done without a cat. And as for the person(s) having it done, the cops may also be able to find out who you are and i hear it is a very hefty fine for having no cat...

 

like 1200 dollars or more in fines

 

and i think they can impound your car or atleast have it towed away at your expense.

I know the big al's your talking about and I asked them a long time ago if they would do it, and they looked kindda pissed off, and gave me this big long explanation on all the trouble they could get it, so unless they are under new management, I don't think that they will do it

 

heres is what you can do...remove your tags tow it there tell them its your race car have them do the work then put your tags back on and drive home
