Theres always other factors in the suspension that have to be considered as well.

Ya were talking about the same thing. The point I am trying to make, the Rim diameter doesn't affect this. The Series of the tire does. you could have a 17" in the front and a 18" in the back one could be a 30 series and one could be a 40 series and they will have the same side wall height so its not going to affect the oversteer.

Goddamnit! There must be a reason why it does, and that is the answer I am looking for.

they will have the same side wall height so its not going to affect the oversteer.
but they will have different sidewall strength, the 30 series is going to be stiffer, thus the traction breaking point will be higher

that is the answer I am looking for.
probably because it equals out the way the suspension is setup, plus the power has a great deal to do with how they keep the tires on the ground.

I'll bet theres some information about this somewhere in here:

lol swede your still not getting it. Series is just a percentage of the width. So techinically a 30 series and a 40 series could be identical so strength is going to be identical.

Right?

I'm sure it was just for looks, they could have had the same effect by changing the final drive ratio.

yea well bascially when u put bigger tires/ rims on the back then u u get more traction, bascially more traction for the back and better sterring in the front
