It is illegal to do that without taking a shipment in. I use to work at a gas station and wondered about that. you get the new price for gas with an invoice once you receive the new gas. They might have just took a shipment even though they didnt need one to raise the prices. i guess they could do that if they wanted.

actually there is a couple of them right by industrial drive in newport news. both are between $4.75-$4.93 a gallon. that in a matter of 8 hours. at 11am they were at about $3.55 a gallon so there is a huge jump in about 8 hours.

Funny a few years ago hurricanes never changed gas prices.....the American consumer is brainwashed for sure....oil is down 33% so why is it the gas prices are still up....things that make you go hmmmmmmm

Well, they are. I filled up at 7-11 for 3.48, but Dodge's Store on Hampton Blvd. wants like 5.00 a gallon, so they're obviously raising gas prices however they want.
