My s2k knob got unbearable hot in the summer time which is why I got rid of it.

If you were happy with your stock one and are just looking for a replacement, you should look in to the new CR shift knobs. They're countersunk and round... and OEM. If I didn't have my Voodoo that I have on the car now, I'd buy a CR knob.
