ITs not much of a race car. Looks stock to me. You know its against the law to own a car with out a title in the state of va. If you want it to be a race car you must get an offroad use only title. Also lets say someone buys it off here and the person who does has the title all of a sudden wants to get their car back and report it stolen. A bank could still have a lean on this car. etc.. You see where I am going with this here. We could get into big trouble. I would try to figure something out not just for this sale but for your own legal safety.
haha its not a stock car its a race car, did you not hear the man say that it has sti shift knob?? and it needs a new clutch, that has to be from racing it.
damn, a race car with 80,XXX miles, were you racing around the world or something?
ITS A RACE CAR....if you can't handle that then fine.
Buy a crashed one swap vins and go about your business and have yourself a $12,000 car.
Do "race cars" not have titles? You can;t just swap a vin plate here and there...especially off a wrecked car. The wrecked car will likely have a slavage vin, in which case the state police have to do a killer inspection where they match the vin in a dozen places...if anything looks funny, you fucked.
And you will not get through emmisions by just swapping the vin's, they hook that crap up to the computer and it knows the vin.
What you woud need to do is leave it on your property for 30 days, go through the process of advertizing and looking for the owner, if you have done your due diligence as required by law, and there are no leins and nobody responds to claim it...you can get a title via the DMV. Or if you have a tow truck company hook up, they can put it on their lot for a month and get you a title alot faster.
