As for AA/Atif's past threads: If users like yourself could say their piece and leave it alone, the threads wouldn't get locked/deleted. But when a thread has been dead for months and then people want to bump a thread to say something like, "Just wanted to remind people this guy is a crook.", we have to do something. That's against the rules and is childish. There is also a way to go about "bashing" a shop. Using tact and showing sense goes a long way...
I agree about the 2nd hand information, however I also believe there is a a way to go about moderating a site. There have been 2 specific threads of information (not second hand) about AA. I posted one about our dyno day, and an individual who had another swap (maxima) posted his.

Quick google search yields his story (which was copied over here). Post 24 references the deleted thread:
http://forums.maxima.org/dealership-...hread-3-a.html

Both were deleted without a trace, nor a response from the moderator (or owner) of the site (I emailed whomever responds to "Contact Us").

I'm not accusing you as an individual of doing this, but there are tools to handle this (lock threads, delete "opinion" posts). My opinion is that it is "childish" to play favorites on a board where vendor reviews are critical. Because a shop is a forum supporter does not mean that those individuals who had bad experiences should not be able to share their reviews. The reviews may save individuals capable of using the search function (which appear to be fewer and fewer) some headache and stories like this.

You'll know if you get an infraction. It sends a PM with the reasons why and a message from the person who gave you the infraction. We usually get PMs from those who get an infraction. Sometimes they threaten us and sometimes they apologize. I just got a profile visitor message from someone I gave an infraction to in like March. They hadn't visited since then and were pissed. LOL

FYI: You have not recieved any infractions.

Yeah if you click on your name and go to your profile, there is a tab for infractions. That will tell you if you have ever had any.

I've had two which are expired now.

Since I can't be able to find that tab am I to assume that I have no infractions?
