It's happened to me 3 times in the past month. I'm starting to get used to it.

I recommend Auto Elite off of Birdneck Road... I had them completely respray my Z06 after I made it a targa this past year. They fixed the botched job of another shop and made me a happy customer. I'm very anal when it comes to paint/body work as I used to be an inusrance adjsuter and had to inspect repairs all day long so I have an eye for poor color match and poor paint work. The owner's name is Brian Dodson... I've referred a few people to them. They work on most of the higher end cars in va beach, Vipers, Porsches, race cars, a few lamborghinis, etc. etc. It was a relief to have the car in the hands of a shop with as much attention to detail as I have.




The nice ting about Corvettes is that all of the panels simply come off. Your quater panel and rear facia can be replaced easily. Here's my car naked before taking it to the painters...

alright, cause there is a guy that drives around the k-ville area(mainly down PA), that has a vette that looks just like yours, its yellow with a targa top, black wheels with a polished/chrome lip...i never knew if it was you or not so i figured i would ask

 

Considering I'm 100% certain that I have the only targa Z06 in the area then it's me. There may be a yellow coupe w/ a similar setup as all coupes are targa. I drive the car often though.
