just tlaked to my mom...they have nothing in 757 she said..and arent expected to get power back for qat least 4 days to 2 weeks...happy my ass is here lol...

 

the northern neck wher emy mom has her house at has no power or water and power lines are down everywhere-not expected to get it back for days.

 

8 trees down in our yard, one more with the roots up that'll fall on the house if we don't wench it down. One almost fell on my bedroom...wouldn't have been cool. Across the street the guy had 2 trees through his roof. House on the corner had a tree through it's roof. Several trees around the neighbor's houses that will be a pain to get down without tearing stuff up. Felt like Lewis and Clarke chainsawing our way out the neighborhood this morning. Dad fucked his chainsaw blade up getting trees out of the street this morning so we haven't been able to get any in our yard up. Beach Rd. was flooded...3 or 4 houses had water up to the windows up towards ironbridge. Power lines are down ALL down beach rd. in both directions...it'll be a while before we get electricity back. Our neighborhood got hit hard. It looked like a war zone when we went outside this morning. Seriously, it's bad. I've never seen so many people out helping out this morning thouhg. It was a good chance to meet some of the people in the neighborhood. I'll post pictures as soon as we power/cable back at my house.

 

3 trees down, 1 tore up the fence on one side of the yard, 1 tore up the fence on the other side.

One is propped up against another (smaller) tree. Waiting for it to come down and smash the deck. :-\

 

2 huge trees, numerous smaller trees and 6 million branches that are quite large. Couldnt get out of my driveway in one direction before moving some trees/branches. Nothing hit the house, nothing landed on cars...power was back on within 24hrs.

My neighbor got f***d royally! 7 enormous trees fell. Taking out parts of his house, his shed entirely, totally his S-10 Sonoma (the roof line is even with the bed line!!!) and also blocked the street taking power lines with it. Note to self: NEVER, EVER buy a lot with nothing but pine trees...pine trees are weak lil bitches!

haven't been home to assess the damages in person there, but according to my parents there were trees all over the place and a shitload of rain.. that's about it.. and they've been without power and water since yesterday afternoon..

here at school we lost power for about 14 hours, and just now got cable back... trees all over as well... a bigass tree fell on the house behind mine..

and i blew a head gasket in my beater tonight

 

anyone seen or heard from phil? I hope he didnt get blown away in the hurricane.

talked to phil today--he's fine but has no power and sounds kinda irritated about it, lol. i think most everyone is doin ok, which is excellent to hear.

 

this fucken sucks ass big time....cold showers just don't cut it. and walkin around with flashlights and candles afta the sun goes down is a bitch. no servere damage around here from the hurricane. but since almost all of broad st stop light were down the first day..there were a million accidents waitin to happen and i seen about 4 in jus an hour alone. now jus about 80% of the stop lights are back...but no power or water in my neighborhood. fucken shit looks like ghost town. i've been havin to drive around to charge my phone or hit up the pool hall to charge it there and my laptop since its the only two thing i have for entertainment. =(
