as for the balance shafts....whats the benefit of removing them?

 

It bumps up the oil pressure , while removing wieght , ( not much maybe 5 or 6 lbs) and it is usually good for a few hp on the dyno. Also the kaizenspeed kit looks ver nice on the side of the block rather then just freeze plugs. The kit also doesnt require you to turn the balance shaft bearings to block oil flow. All in all its a cheap easy thing to do for a few hp and nice looks. Good luck with your build. H2b cars are great for the money.

 

Thanks man, couldn't be more ready. I'm essentially "totalling" the value of this EF with this swap....but eh, thats common for hondas.

 

My buddy did a F20B swap in an EK and used the QSD H2B Kit with a B16 Tranny and the shit ran awesome.
