I love hondas and yotas just like everyone else but to act like one problem causes all the cars to be worth nothing how in the world do these neons ever see 200,000 miles these people must be broke with up keep hey how much a year does it cost you to run that neon I mean come on some people a retarded like I said before he's a damn fool name just about any car you can think of and I can tell you some comon problems they just don't get dwelled on honda head gaskets don't hold either they're distributors are junk oh how about the tranny problems this will probably piss some people off but hondas weren't sent down by GOD to be the one almighty car now that I've vented again think before you speak
Yea Wow dude. I've had a DD 96 sohc neon since 2001 (btw that i bought at a mom and pop dealer for $3000) and the only thing I have replaced (besides regular filters and oil) is the oem head gasket, because of a mild oil leak and the water-pump. which was a total of about $150- $200. This car is a ROCK and just will not die. Bought it in 01 with 80,000 and now (09) it has about 160,000 I'm pretty sure I could take this car cross country and it would be fine.
