nope no storage fees just towing, and yes i get my shell back!!! true on the vin tags, but honda didnt start putting vins on motors until sometime in 96/ late 95 thats why 95 and below gsrs cant be traced back

What if someone, just legitimately blows a motor/tranny and buys a legit used one online, and then swaps it? Suddenly that's illegal?

no. as you long as you have papers on the motor you bought from a ledgit company you are ok. The company should know if the motor is stolen ect. If they sell you a stolen motor they are liable for a law suit if I remember right. I remember reading some where that this happend. I may know someone who will watch.
