going to the show this friday. few of us from work are going when it opens.

 

yea im down jason once my back heals. I need to pick up a rifle myself. shooting handguns gets boring. ive had about 300 rounds for my gun sitting around for almost a year. Its about time i use them.

 

im pretty sure winters bf works there. and he is a giant fucking douchbag.

If he works at that place, he is a douche bag, no 2 ways around it... Everyone there sucks, so that takes care of that...

The range masters are fucking idiots. Every time I have been in that place I have been told a different way to staple the god damn target. Incredibly annoying and inconsistent, but whatever. This past time I was in there, I had bought 5-6 full body silhouettes. The doucher in there was only allowing me to shoot at the head of the target, about a 6 inch area on a 3ft tall target that I had just bought from their merchandise area. Meanwhile, the guy next to me who had rented his gun had ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE of firearms or safety for that matter, but not a word was said to him, all the while I have some fucking asshole in my ear the whole time tellin me that im not allowed to shoot below the head. This dickhead was ALL OVER THE place with his shooting, as he had ZERO knowledge of how to aim the weapon. The target was not to be stapled any higher to focus on center body mass... Riddle me that

We had also brought a Taurus Judge that day (5 shot revolver, shoots .45 colt rounds as well as .410 shotgun shells for those of you who dont know). This is a gun that is available for sale in their retail area. We were not allowed to shoot this gun on the their facility because it shoots shot shells. The general consensus among everyone I have talked to is that there is no way it could have damaged any of their equipment when fired correctly. If you aren't allowed to fire a gun at a gun range, where are you supposed to do it?

To top it off, they laid off BOTH my good friend AND his Fiance 3 weeks after promising them both CARREERS (They were in the business end of the company, not the dickriding side that pretends to know about guns in the retail area). Not to mention it was known by everyone at Silver Eagle that they just had a baby about 2 months ago. Kicked to the curb after being promised the world, with no explanation or forewarning.

Again, fuck that place. Hopefully the shitty service combined with the fact that the people behind the counters know NOTHING about the guns they have for sale there and extremely high price of range time will be its demise. Not a place I will ever do business with again. Hopefully you all will take this warning and go elsewhere...
