stock greddy type s had problems with their diaphrams. many of them leaked

 

Its true, seems like a lot of people around here haven't heard of this, but i keep hearing about it from other people.

 

ive heard about it a ton..

thats the reason they stopped making the type s.. well that and they lost the rights to the design which is why there are so many on ebay with similar designs..

the greddy type rs is supposed to be better, but the sound is a lot diff

either way the NGR Type S has better sound IMO than either of them. the greddy type s recirculated doesnt sound nearly as good as the ngr type s recirculated

 

i have had the Turbosmart Supersonic BOV, Greddy Type S, HKS SSQV (new style) , 1G DSM, 2G DSM Bovs and aside from the 2G being a complete waste of space, all others named were great in their own sense....never had a single problem with any of them....but of course, some of those are better for certain applications than others...

 

yeah most of them are fine just have different sounds.. some seal better than others but only a little unless you got a bad greddy type s

^^ ive heard good things about that bov. but the sound isnt nearly the same as a ngr type s.. and its more expensive..
