The Sig CPO's are like new. Quoted from Sig's site:
You say that like it's a bad thing. The West German Sig's are the most sought after pistol by Sig enthusiasts
BTW, I'm not trying to thread crap. I just don't like people to be misinformed.
Traded in by law enforcement agencies for new SIG SAUER pistols, these pre-owned SIG SAUER pistols have been Factory Certified after passing the SIG SAUER Five-Point Factory Certification process. And no Certified Pre-Owned SIG SAUER pistol leaves the factory without the approval of one of our expert SIG SAUER armourers. That’s your guarantee of the legendary SIG SAUER quality and it’s all backed by a one-year factory warranty.
• Before receiving its Factory Certified Pre-Owned status each pistol is stripped, refinished, refitted with original factory parts where needed, cleaned and lubricated, function tested and hand-inspected by a certified SIG SAUER armourer.
• When going through the Five-Point Factory Certification process, the SIG SAUER armourer looks for worn parts. When worn parts are discovered they are replaced with original factory SIG SAUER parts.

Also, SIG CPO guns nearly always look great...often times the only distinguishing factor is the red box as opposed to the blue box for a new one.
OP: You can try it on www.vaguntrader.com (but they will laugh at your price there too).
You have to be reasonable...especially when the CTC grips aren't all that coveted. Its a nice extra, but you aren't going to get someone to pay you their full retail value in addition to full retail price for your Sig 226.
