Re: Engine stalls out after starting & idling fine
I just had this exact same problem in my DC2. mine would start and run till it got to optemp then cut completely off. i changed everything im my fuel line and nothing worked. then it stopped starting all together. it turned out to be the Main Relay. now it starts up just fine. your main relay may be going bad.

Re: Engine stalls out after starting & idling fine
the main relay and the 'cooling down" scenario is a possability, but more rampid in older civics, up to eg's. Besides the main relay, which is an easy fix, double check all the timing and the cap/rotor just for the hell of it, and the distro timing.
Re: Engine stalls out after starting & idling fine
inside the dizzy is a little black box secured by 2 screws, ignition control modual. you are able to start it but once it warms up starts acting up. bet its that little black box. those have made people sell there cars because they think everything is screwed. if you replaced the WHOLE dizzy with a reman, you have a 30% chance of getting a bad one again. these parts are still a little pricey, so borrow a friends, or go to a junk yard and test it.
