Mugen, Thermal stealth, and a lot of other high end manufacturers exhaust sound really well on civics and integras. Its just no one ever pays for these cause they are expensive. As long as these cars have cats they sound good. Mine sounded excellent when i had a cat, now it sounds like shit without one. But im up 3hp!

actually...the apexi worldsport is probably one of the cheaper sounding exhauts that really has a good exhaust note.

a friend in vb has an integra with a b20 (crv motor i think) and hes got the stock cat gutted and put type r exhaust running from the cat back and it sounds nice and deep and throaty for a 4 cyl..... not all ghetto and amplified... but like an exhaust should

not trying to sound like i'm praising my car...but with just a muffler my car sounds rather nice (most people agree).....but that's just my opinion.....my friends civic sounded ok, i think he had magna flow on it, i was rather surprised on the sound.
