Morris honestly you should just make a thread on SRTForums about it.

truth. but then the clutter of asshats might get in the way

my 04 srt4 didnt have these issues thankfully....just because the countermonkey at ur dealer didnt know whats up doesnt mean there isnt a recall. ive just found 3 sites for you proving that there is documentation of a recall/problem.

go to the dodge site, find the same info, print it out, take to the dealer, and get it fixed.

not a recall, just a bad switch...it happens. This may be a good time to get a different model dodge or jeep switch to get the one where you can use the parking lights and fogs without turning on the headlights. If not, just go get a stock replacement.

I too was on srtforums but i switched phone services and my account got messed up. But none the less, im a knowledgeable person about the srt4.

so your gonna let that scare you away from even asking about it? Either way, the car is basically sold. Just waiting til the morning to get the check from his bank.

Only one person came to look at it...and the same one told me its sold. I wouldnt post up a car for sale if i knew it was a pos. I told the guy everything about the car. I was straight forward and honest with him.

I was in the car business for awhile, and the thing about salvage titles (or repaired/rebuilt)is that they're hit or miss (usually miss) with ever being the same again. IIRC (its been awhile) a vehicle with a repaired title has between 50% to 75% of its value in damage.
Because of this, the value of the car is greatly affected and not only is it worth less, but you usually have a hell of a time trying to sell it.

So to answer your question, yes, im going to let a repaired title stop me from even asking about it, even though I dont doubt your word on how clean it is.
