Not tryin to thread jack or anything, but I'm doin my first build and it's gona be all motor. I've been doin a lot of research but I had a few questions that you or some else could help answer for me.
What is the stock CR for a b18b1??
What would be a good piston or CR to run in an all motor DD??
And last, Someone told me u could use vtec internals in a Non-vtec head, is this true??

Believe 9:1 cr in a b18b, 11:1 in a dd or 12:1 believe anything higher you might have det. issues with pump gas(not 100% though), and why would you want to gut a vtec head to install in a non vtec head? B18b heads flow like shit, get a b16 head get a mild port and polish and upgrade the valvetrain and your better then a itr head.
no they wont and you will be kicking yourself when you build an all motor b18b head, you just wont get the power like you would with a b16. if you have internals for a b16 already, buy a cheap ass bare head and use that with the internals you have
