Best bang for buck mod to any car is some good tires and a performance driving class or some trips to the local autocross in my opinion.

$1500 will buy a good amount of school books. Tires for a while. Cover all kinds of 10 year old part failures. The list continues. Then again you could slap an ebay turbo kit on your perfect car, do it wrong, suddenly get an oil leak and magically have a primered front bumper cover.

keep the engine bay shit stock.
just make it look fresh.
lowering springs, koni yellows, front and rear lip. hid's are alot safer at night than oem lights. and some decent rims. window tint.
and whatever you do...if you get a scratch dont try to fix it yourself, enough primered hondas and acuras are already out there. and DO NOT spray paint your wheels, get them powdercoated, it will cost you a whole 150 bucks and they last forever, and if you have them lay down 4mil on the lip it helps against curb scuffs.
