Crazy. Usually they don't just completely fail like that, they'll usually run the engine poorly and trigger a CEL before they actually completely fail.

well it was sputtering under half throttle and it was falling on its face as soon as i hit peak boost. so i figured it was the fuel pump sinces it was a 220 lph and the stock 240sx fuel pump is a 225 lph. but no it was the CAS. like people siad it was gonna be somthing simple and when i find out im gonna be kicking myself in the ass for not thinking about it.

and if you had done the diagnostic proceedur like i said to do you would have known that the pump wasn't loosing its prime and you would have known to look elese where. glad you got it fixed though that is pretty crazy it just started out of the blue but electronics are like light bulbs they sometimes just go at the flip of a switch best of luck to ya

just remember in the future ignition electronics can be very temperature sensetive if something runs until temp gets up then you want to check ignition modual, cam/crank sensors, pick up coils, ignighters "Hondas" , and coil packs the heat makes the contact pull away from each other then usually when they cool down they will act right until they get hot again hey just chalk it up to experience the most important thnig is you did't let the car kick your ass you da man later
