Not a fan of clear corners or markers.
LOL @ that price. Even Madera will be cheaper than that. I don't know where BMW gets off. I can get shifter trimer for my old Benz from MB for <$300, and there is MUCH more wood involved. IIRC Madera is $700 worst case scenario (meaning he has to reveneer it). If the old veneer is restorable it's like $400-500.

Do you have a shop in mind for your headliner? Mine is starting to sag a small amount at the rear, I want to nip it in the bud before I have to buy a $1000 headliner.

I could still buy a set of tires for 400-500 bux!

I enjoy being able to find my parts in a junkyard in abundance for pocket lint...

The headliner isn't sagging; I had it done through one of those "friend of friend" type deals a few months back and I'm less than pleased with the result. In typical BMW fashion, most of the clips holding the a pillars and sunroof motor cover were broken and weren't discovered until a month or two after the headliner was done...somehow he'd gotten them to stay in place without actually "clipping" in. I found two used a pillars and bought the sunroof motor cover new (was only $15) and am just waiting for my current situation to turn around before shelling out the money to have it redone. The headliner material is rather cheap and readily available, but I'm not doing it myself.

That one part that keeps bothering me is apparently un-fixing itself. I know I've personally fixed it twice and I've seen you fix it once. Yet, there it is. Mocking me.

We need to get to the bottom of that.

They'll be removed for a fresh coat of paint in the near future; all in due time.

BTW, I'm still mad.
