Actually it could hurt the car if you open up the exhaust to much especially since it is off a turbo'ed car. You will lose the performance the muffler was intended to get. I noticed with my exhaust i lost a good bit of torque at lower rpms. Bigger isnt always better. Is this a stock single or dual exhaust?

 

 

fuck it, im just not tryin to put a stock exhaust back on, as long as it bolts on, works and looks decent, its good enuf

This would be almost as dumb as when I put a 3" Apex-i GT Spec cat-back on my non-turbo FC RX-7. But then again, at the time I was 15 years old and I got the cat-back brand new for like $350, so I couldn't pass up the deal. It was loud as fuck, but it probably hurt my performance more than it helped. So thats my excuse.
