Yeah, it has turbo lag, but once you pass that...it's a "kick in the pants". Feels good to have a turbo car. And to able to upgrade the turbo in a L28ET is nice as well.
i think turbo lag is cool, not from a performance standpoint just cause it's fun to be puttering along and then get slammed by the powersurge from the turbo...
the Z31 is a fun car. your 280 is very clean i like it. i owned one about 4 years ago and wrecked mine, it was mint, so sad.

No mine doesn't talk...Mine's an '81. I think the ones that are '83 talk. I think that would annoy me after awhile. Thanks for the kind words on my car.

Older Z's used to talk to you as in when you left your lights on and your car was off, instead of getting a ding, the car would say, "Your lights are on"
i rather like the 280Z with the blown 350 GM Performance Crate Motor in it.

I love the Z's but still a chevy guy. Doing the V8 swap in a 280 zx hopefully be pushing 600hp all motor. looking for ad roig bored block though hard to fing
