If you can do a tune up you should be able to do that without any problems. But, I'm sure there are lots of people here who will do it for cheap if you're looking for help. You're still looking at coming out waaaay ahead of the dealer. I'm not sure where that $636 came from, if the IACV is $200. That's like $436 labor. Is there anything else on the quote you got?

Nope thats just about it. Thats a dealer for you. Yes i would rather somebody with more experience do it. I did check the price on majestic honda and its around $200. Now i just need to find somebody to do it cheap. If you know anybody in the Nova area let me know.

do you have any better ideas? i found a 3rd party version for 150 at autopartswarehouse. but i think the honda version would be better.

rather than the honda version? i know some parts are made alot cheaper such as radiators. but does this matter for a iacv.

DO NOT USE STARTER FLUID lol.. def not a smart idea on fuel injected vehicle. Is it throwing a check engine light IF it is find out what codoes to help pinpoint.

It did a few wks ago. But it went away and when i checked it at advance auto it said cylinder 2 misfire.

cleaning the iacv fixed the problem
