OMG. So last Sat. in the left lane of 95N like 2 or 3 miles shy of the mixing bowl. I switch into the left lane and BANG BANG MOFO BANG! Almost lost control of the car and got swung into the center lane. Thankfully able to save it. I instantly knew something's wrong and the car is steering to left. I have to wait about two miles to pull of somewhere safe. And the front tire is flat and smoking. I put spare on. Then next morning I realize the left back wheel is also bent. As of now I'm not sure what wrongs with the front tire but it went flat and it was smoking. So most likely that tire is bad and the wheel is iffy.
I heard that you can make a claim to VDOT about them repaying you for the poor road conditions. I called today and the lady said I need to gather all my evidence. Here is my problem. I feel like a key piece of evidence I can't obtain is a picture of the pothole. 1. B/c I'm not exactly sure where it is, just left lane, left side of the lane. And 2 even if I did know where it is, I dont feel safe trying to take a pic on the highway.

I got my money worth in PG County, Maryland. I went after them in court. It feels good that I have lawyer's in the family and freind own a mechanic shop. No road, no contruction sign or cones, man hole took out my Skunk2 cat-back exhaust.
I'm still fighting the one in Montgomery County, Maryland for not having any pavement on all 3 lanes. crack 1 wheel. Ended up paying for a new set of wheels because my wheel was limited eddition. If I do win this one in court, don't think I get much just for the price off the new set of wheels.

Take pictures of the location and where the pot holes are also. I did it once also when I broke my rims on fairfax county parkway and broke two wheels and they broke in half. Sent a invoice about getting new ones and the cost and they said they had no construction that day I told them that they did. So make sure to take pictures next time and threaten them with a lawyer if you have to. I believe they rather not spend even more tax money on lawyer bs.

^^Well I sent off my report last Thursday the 31st. As of now, I havn't heard back. But hopefully soon.
