tell him ( i think) those subs need 400 rms at 4 ohm, and that amp is 500rms. let him do the math. Unless you bridge it down to 8 ohm, you are underpowering the subs. They will work, but not like they should, and underpowering a sub can blow them to, not just overpowering them. He would be better off splitting them up, and letting the buyer of the subs get a new kicker amp from best buy. They start carrying them this week.
