I'm trying to figure out why the valve springs were so hard to install. I've done too many sets on LS motors to count and the only ones that were really a pain were on a 4th gen F-body with ETP heads. The head has a .5" thick deck and raised valve cover rails. All under the cowel of a 4th gen. So what was so difficult? Off the car they are cake with the right tools.
These are massive dual valve springs....they were no cakewalk to install, even with a big spring compressor.
