Re: What cars have you owned and what problems have they had?
2006 Chevy Suburban 1500
-obviously, guzzled gas.
-had a rough idle
-clattered and shook like a diesel on shutdown.
other than those minor things, it was a great truck.
2008 Rav4 Ltd.
-Only problem i ever had was with the body shop that fixed the back end after i hit something. door never closed quite right, and there was overspray EVERYWHERE. i even had a silver exhaust tip.
2008 BMW 135i
-burned up 4 HPFPs.
-carbon buildup in the intake manifold twice.
-carbon buildup in injectors 5&6, leading to issues in cylinders 5&6.
-fouled all 6 spark plugs. twice.
-low pressure fuel pump replaced once.
-head remachined due to excessive wear and gunk from aforementioned carbon buildup.
-lost both headlights at one point.
-third brakelight cracked and fell outta the trunklid.
-runflats are easy as hell to blow out, and typically they take a wheel with them.
i won't even get started on the problems i've caused by tinkering excessively. and badly. i was never meant to be under the hood of something so needlessly complicated.

Re: What cars have you owned and what problems have they had?
'00 Honda Civic *bought with 55k, now has 164k* [first and only car]
- passenger side door lock actuator went bad [164k]
- compressor locked up causing the clutch to spin off underneath my car onto 295 [152k]
'07 Suzuki GSX-R
- zero problems
Thankfully my vehicles have never given me any problems, but I try to take really good care of them.

Re: What cars have you owned and what problems have they had?
815 a month for a 10 year old car? lol @ you chad.
it wasn't that great, was it? i don't even like them that much... and they seem pretty damn underpowered for what the going rate is for them.
and that is the most random smattering of cars i've ever seen. were those in chronological order?

You know how I do.. buy a nice car, get bored and want to be done with payments, then get a crap car, get bored & get back into a nice car, rinse and repeat. Usually every 6 months. Many of those cars were beaters... some where beaters to my beaters. (ie... had the first S2, Integra GSR, and Civic EF all at the same time).

HP means nothing in a car built for handling. And yes, those are in order, and he's been pretty random with some of the purchases.
