Radiator cooling?

 

it will be cut out for the turbo and intercooler, not solid like that one, but that bumper probably will only be used at track events, so the car will only run long enough to go down the track and back to the pits

 

I wish I had the time and workspace to make carbon parts again. That would be a nice bumper setup to make out of carbon or fiberglass and be able to make spares really fast. Shape-wise, it's such a simple part so it would be easy to do, especially with DZUS clips or quarter-turn fasteners to attach to the car.

 

lol its a drag car 90 percent of them have front ends that are closed off completely, but most run electric water pumps

well, after almost 2 weeks of not working on it at all, due to having a baby and him being in the NICU, finally got a day off and time to do some work, here's the progress

roof swap
RS roof skin, removed from the roof base


about to wire wheel the seam sealer so we can see the spot welds


drilling out the spot welds


GSR sun roof panel removed



RS roof skin set in place, will weld on after i do the cage



removing sound deadening material from the floor for the base plates for the cage


and my door specialist, swapping wiring and power door latch
