My new RSX - Starting Build, Posting Progress, Looking for Parts
Ah, yes. the RSX-S. Not so popular on the east coast.
I/H/E + Hondata K-Pro is a good start. K series responds well to bolt ons. You have one of the last tuner cars Honda marketed in the US.
Reduce weight, mod the engine. DC5's are borderline ugly, so cosmetic improvements are marginal.

has anyone but me notice this is not a type S, its a base, that radio is from the base, the shifter is all black, the seats for chirst sake are cloth. i know this because i own one, so therefore if anyone is gonna give mod advice make it for a base owner.
if you want to run with a fairly stock type is youre going to need I/RH/E RBC Intake Manifold and K-pro. that in itself is going to cost somewhere between 2,000 and 2,500 depending on who u buy from and if you install it yourself...everyone is going to tell you..swap it out for a k20a2, or k24a2, k20z1 ect..
BUT theres multiple alternatives and i would recommend joining ClubRSX.com for advice on this.
I myself am going to save money and when i get to the point i can afford to "build" i'll either forge and boost the a3 or im going to go with a k20/24.
as for exterior Black out headlights, red out the corners on the tails, cheap to do and look good.
H.I.D. 6k
drop it on what you can afford, teins are good springs if thats your route cause they maintain comfortability.
lip kit of your choice, its your car.
Wheels.
thats about all you can do to make it look better.

But still...

Why not just buy a fast car? For the price to build the thing to go 13's you can probably have something better and faster....

everyone wants to play but noone wants to pay...
