I have a track friend who has used abacus in the past. I trust him 100%. He had his head worked on my Abacus and they returned the head with two of the cam caps in the wrong spot. It is always a good idea to have your stuff checked twice just to be sure. Things like that are numbered so you don't make those kinds of mistakes without being able to see it. I say this to not bash abacus but to say that ANYONE can make a mistake. If you are having any machine work done and you are going to be putting the engine back together check everything. No matter who does the partial build. Don't assume that they are so good that they can't make a mistake. This protects you.

They began to dyno my car in reverse for about 5 seconds at one of the charity events but it was taken care of.... no worries there. They restrapped it and proceeded to finish the job normally. Shad was not driving.

Yup, but when they backed in on to the dyno they left it in reverse and turned it off. They set the car up and started it again and it looks like it is in first with most cars so they started to drive it, but then realized it was in reverse when everyone started to yell.

If you are not used to driving "euros" then I can understand mistake.

what about the retune we did? the boost is alot higher than it was before we did a slight modify to the tune it is all good i still love ya grease. this is not a battle of who is the best tuner it is all about how good abacus is or isnt? all i know is that we strive to do a good job for everyone and try to treat everyone equal. and as far as pullin the car in reverse it was a honest mistake i let one of the guys helping me that day drive and he forgot to take the car out of rev. but ill take the blame for that one, should of drove that one myself. He just tring to help and it makes it easier for me to run the software.

To show HOW GOOD ABACUS and SHAD is , Shad wrote a program for me today for my Hondata for my 1000cc injectors, MY car was not there, ERRR it started right up and IDLED like the 750cc injectors did. I just gotta fix a fuel leak tough tomorrow. Gotta get the fuelk rail on tighter snce the injectors sit lower than the old ones. Shad is a GREAT TUNER and noone else tunes mine but him and PRETTY SOON ....ME since I gotta learn to do things myself but Sahd will always be here for tips and pointers. We shall see if I get the software. Abacus and Shad=

AS I STATED that was what I heard and I made sure to point out the fact that I HEARD that. I also made sure that I said I had no dealings with ABACUS personally. You can detune a car quite a bit. I was reading a article in a mag where someguy had twin superchagers makeing upwards of 1000 HP and he had to detune it to 700 so he drive it on the street. If you know what you are doing you can tune anything up or down.

AGAIN I was only stating what I heard.
