Maybe they dont want a 7 year old car. Maybe they dont want leather. Maybe they dont want to buy a 7 year old car that costs as much as the SRT4. Maybe they like straight line speed. Maybe they want four doors.

I mean come on, if they wanted all of that, all they had to do was get a miata with a FMII turbo. There, something that would hand you your ass in the corners and the straights, and do it with the top down.

And maybe, when you have to replace simple stuff that DOES wear out like brake pads, belts, hoses, clutch, etc, they dont want to have to sacrifice their first born child to be able to afford the parts.

Then there must not be one in your area, because most the people I know around here have lost that stigma after being around my car for a while.

How old are you? if over 25 then check out a LS1 F-body. If your under 25 your insurance will be stupid. I know they wanted 350 a month from me and I have a clean record. The srt is only 140 a month, that stigma has some uses...

I'd much rather have an f-body than a neon

Actually, for me, the SRT4 was only like 50 dollars cheaper for a 6 month term for full coverage compared to a 2002 WS6 Trans Am when i was researching newer cars.

My "reputation" if you will for giving accurate advice is pretty sound here. I'm sure more than a couple would back me up on it.

It is fast for the money on a brand new car. Nobody can argue that.

Handling could use improvement, but that changes easily with modification. No power windows in the rear doors.

Cold weather starts are hard I have heard, car likes to be warmed up a bit.

Motor mounts are your friend with the SRT-4.

It is a Neon. Deal with all the "issuses" people have against it. Any I have come by changed their tone after a ride.

Cheap upgrades from mopar are making their way out. All have tested well with consumers, and I personally like what I have gotten from mopar.

Big turbo kits are out, big FMIC upgrades are out. Psi Fi will be selling a lap top tuneable piggy pack system shortly.

And I think the seats are killer.
