It's an M3. People with M3s don't expect anything other than shiney things and having the latest bluetooth device. All they're concerned with is image, not performance. They're like the jersey shore version of a Corvette owner.

All I’m saying is people that drive higher end cars will spend larger sums of money for quality work while people who drive bargain basement crap like WRXs will buy bargain basement crap like Turbo-XS for their cars.

Well people that drive higher end cars obviously have more money to spend on higher end parts. Putting dymags on a civic is just as dumb as putting Rotas on a Porsche. Randy is young, he has to live within the car budget his income will allow. Maybe in a few years his turbo AWD flat motor build will be a 6cyl and come from Germany.

Back to the topic at hand though... I still like the look of the exposed lines. It makes for a little contrast. Without that, it would look a little plain.

That's not entirely true. His motor is built by the most well known Subaru guy in the country. I know the details because I actually commissioned the build and spent more than most will here on their entire car.

I'm confused as well. The only cheap stuff in the car are the wheels, and coilovers. The engine, tranny, clutch, headers, fuel system, EMS, turbo, boost controller, wideband, Defis, bars, links, ect. are all quality parts. As far as the "Turbo XS crap"...the fit/finish on the FMIC was near perfect and it made/will make great power.

But that dicussion isn't for this thread, when I update my build thread in a couple days we can discuss it there I suppose.
