jack recommendations

Re: jack recommendations
This is the reason I went with the 2ton unit when I purchased a new jack. I wanted to be able to get the car up as high as possible. The 3ton jack goes a little bit higher, but I couldnt justify the cost with the difference in jacking height.
I think I paid $160 for mine when I got it, which is what the price is now.

Re: jack recommendations
I have this same one, but it blew out on me after jacking up my Buick like, 3 times. I use a 5 ton truck jack now, no problems

Re: jack recommendations
I picked up the $129 Harbor Frieght 2 ton low profile a couple of weeks ago, it's great so far. I wanted low profile for the R/T, but also needed the extra 3" of lift height for our '04 Durango, which it lifted with ease.
