If it's your everyday put a system in it regardless if you race in it, proally won't ever make that much of a difference if its under 40lbs. If you're taking it to the track which you most likely have to plan ahead for atleast 24hours that'll give you more then enough time for the 5min at most uninstall of some screws from the amp/box. If it's ugly then don't open the hatch
