Sat March 20 - central meet @ US DRIFT DAY, Cloverleaf Mall
Turnout: about 25 cars are preregistered, but plenty of people are supposedly waiting to see the weather forecast (which is good, see here )
and sign up that morning. We hope to see at least 40 cars participating, and we will take a maximum of 50.
Schedule: open sessions about an hour long from 9am-5pm alternating between groups of beginners and groups of intermediate & advanced drivers.
Spectating is free and going for rides is free - please bring a helmet or leave your drivers license at registration and borrow one of ours.
Picture-taking is encouraged, as is sending your best pics to US DRIFT for use on the website.
See the pre-reg list and a detailed schedule here.
It's gonna be fun!!!

What is the appeal of "drifting"? Seems to be promoting driving beyond the limits of the tires into sliding around obstacles. Someone please explain in a non-flaming manner. Thanks.
