Anyone who has driven a VW or an Audi know that they are driver cars. "Drivers Wanted"....also no matter what the car has (ECS, quattro, ASM, etc.) its still a car and the driver's ability still has plenty to do with it. Although yes I will agree that quattro makes it easier to drive the car, it doesnt make up for ability, a noob will crash a car no matter what it is equipped with.

 

I dont wanna start an arguement or a debate but....the AMG is a tuner car. The RS6 comes straight from Audi. There are things that Dahlbach(a tuner in Sweden) can do to this car that would have you shitting yourself. Let me see if I can find the Dahlbach Mk4 GTI with a 5 cylinder audi engine pumping close to 900WHP....AWD. When I find some info I will post...

 

I hate to correct you, but AMG is currently an in house tuner for Mercedes, and the RS6 is made by Quattro GmbH, which is an in house tuner for Audi. So the mercedes is as from the factory as the Audi is. Yes, the E55 is faster, but it can't take a turn worth a crap, and the brake by wire system is terrible.

you make good points.. Congratulations on a great purchase, i have had a chance to ride in one of those beasts and wow.. power is crazy but i am still skeptical about the 480 at the wheels.

 

That is just what I heard from some independan tests. I'm sure it varies alot depending on dyno.

How the fit/finish inside compared to the AMG?

 

The quality and fit and finish is great. The interior is really no different than any other Audi, but it is still very comfortable and spacious. The mercedes did have more bells and whistles, but the Audi is very close. The Audi is simpler, which I think is even better.
