well let me tell you....i have been sprayin a 75 shot for a few years now with no major problems. as long as it is tuned right and with possibly a larger fuel pump (depending on the size of the shot) colder plugs and being conservative with the timing everything will be just fine. you have my word on that! of course stupidity can destroy damn near anything
there i hope that helps

B16 head is same casting as b18c5 head. Except it ported/polished from factory. The price that c5 head costs its easier and cheaper to get a b16 head ported and polished and get some aftermarket cams.

Direct port is the way to go it may be more expensive, but its safer and plus u can spray a bigger shot with it safely.... Ive heard or people spraying 100 shots with no prob on that motor....

Any kind of mechanical work.. I'm thinking he's going to have to get injectors, rail, plugs/wires, cams, gears, fuel pump, c.a.i... Would a bigger throttle body be worth the money on this? Also, what about getting a thinner stronger head gasket, to raise compression?

He has an engine swap but no cai? Ok, get the easy stuff first.. this will help out torque. CAI, header back exhaust. Port/polish the throttle body, sheet metal manifold. If you don't notice a difference there... then somethins is wrong. While you are at it you may want to consider a new fuel pump and step up the injectors not too large but just step them up some.

I think a good skunk2 intake mani. would work, do they make them with custom length necks?

Not sure. You might also want to check out venoms manifold or nitrous express. They just released a manifold with fuel rail already setup for direct port injection if he ever wanted to spray. Do some research on them and see what what kind of tests each has ran on the flow bench.
