It just seems like where I live now has ALL the negatives of a big city and NONE of the positives, i.e. the Tidewater is the worst of both worlds. I'm thinking Winchester might offer the best of both.

 

It's not too bad. It's getting quite developed. I was just there last weekend for apple picking. You're pretty much in the mountains so the scenery is quite nice, especially in the fall. You're also next to Rt.81 so Charles Town and Summit point are right up the road.

 

shenandoah university, is there which is turning into a hood school..last time i was out there i was like damn am i in hoodbridge cause all i saw was thugs or thug wannabes all over the place. but like everyone said. its the hood in the middle of no where..i guess the plus is your not too far from the casino
