how far is elk creek from roanoke?

and why haven't i heard about it be-4?

and why are there so many 1/8 mile strips?

oh well, i guess not everyone can be as smart as me! LOL

june is what i have been told for opening date of Motor Mile 1/8 mile....and all looks good for it to be 1/4 next season.


as for elk creek....yeah, it hooks! that, and emily likes it cause thats where the fast stangs are! aaaaaaaaaannnnnddd......its a REAL 1/8mile.....unlike NB. theirs, IIRC, is slightly under 1/8mile.....last i remember.

but next season is just a little over a year away! LOL, maybe then i'll have a car worthy for a track. (unlike the Vision )

I think NB isn't taken care of like it should be...and being up on a hill is weird to me....there are a lot more 'muscle'/american cars at Elk Creek...and it's flat and has a much larger area for people to hang out...I just like the atmosphere better.

the motor mile.....ever hear of Shelor Motor Mile??? It's just another one of their take-overs. They're redoing..well have already redone most of the New River Valley speedway and adding in a dragstrip, etc etc.

i think i'll stick w/ NB then. i love my imports....i like 'muscle' cars but i don't really know much about them, which is why i don't like them as much.

NB I hear is a shitty shitty track. Dunno about Elk Creek because it's sooooo damn far away. With my 4.10s if I go to Elk Creek I'm gonna have to be a trailor queen. Garan think the super blue berry can haul the poopstang?
