My DET will be replaced if I ever get in an accident that damages the engine......Its not even legal in the US. so someone tell me what they are afraid of?.........If your worried about it get a no-name insurrance company........They dont do too much investigating......Geico and progressive are probably the worst........

a while back my family tried switching insurance from Allstate to Geico, and Geico agreeded to insure us, we wrote up the papers and all, and paid our first two months, and then a week later we got a fuck you letter from them in the mail and lo and behold they had decided to not insure us afterall, due to my crappy driving record. However, it was already in writing from them that they would insure us, and we had already paid. They gave us a week to find other insurance, and refunded our $$ to us, minus the week that we had them. Fuckers.

I have progressive now... i know it's prob not the best insurance, but for me right now it's just so i have something on the books with the state. It's $860 every 6 months for liability coverage with a little bit of extra medical coverage added in. That may seem expensive to you all, but I was paying $1200 every six months with Allstate. And at the end of the month when my policy rolls over into another 6 months, they're chargin me $100 less for payin my bills on time and not getting in a wreck
