yea...they moved to where they make the mazdas or something like that.

Supposed to be modeled after factories in Japan ??? and are 'open door' meaning all work is done on the car with the doors off and that's added last. They're changing a bunch of stuff factory wise, like how to stop the lines in case of a problem (ie not stopping the whole plant unless it's really bad, they have options now)

I forget where I read this....maybe Stangnet? but yea

I love mustangs

Im more worried that ford can't come up with its own NEW ideas. This mustang is modeled after the old one, the thunderbird was modeled after the old one (was axed), many of their concept designs steal design cues from old models....its just not a way to move forward IMO. The Interior is VERY nice on the other hand, just the outside is whats lacking to me. The headlights are terrible, i can get a Focus with HID's, but not a 300HP mustang? WEAK.

The mustang to me is more than just a car....I like the mustang exactly because of its history so it being modeled after mustangs from earlier years makes sense to me.

I see your point though, guess I"m just blindsighted by love lol

Thats what does it for me too. The whole retro thing is what the majority of Mustang enthusiasts like.

Just like what I metioned in my previous post, the majority of Mustang enthusiasts like the retro idea. And although the car looks retro, the mechanics of it are not. The new car is going to be of first class build quality and cutting edge engineering. Also though, where is the connection between 300 hp and HID's. A $75,000 Viper doesn't have HID's nor a 'vette.

No offense to any one that likes mustangs, but in my opinion fords knows that they could take a dump in a metal shell and still sale thousands of theses cars because people are going to buy it solely because it's a mustang. Just look at how mustangs out sold F-body cars in the 90’s and 99-02 even though they were way underpowered compared to the f-body cars.

That being said I do like the new body style a lot. Or atleast with those two fog lights missing I do.

Hey Richard! awwwwwwwww :slap:

my thoughts on that? The mustang is made for an 'everyday' individual and has the capabilities of being faster, however still available to 'everyone' pretty much. SO what stock for stock from the factory it's slower than f-bodies, and so what EVERYONE has one or has had one at some point. It's still around? So something must be right
