you should do whatever you want and makes you happy. i dont think any hondas are worth putting money into. or worth buying for that matter unless you just want basic transportation.
actually, i dont think any car at all is worth putting money in.
my car is for the most part stock and will stay that way. only way itll get upgraded is if somethin breaks.

Justin, what up. I'd have to say do what u want to do. Ur going to hear sell it, or put money into it. I would do some research into the potential that ur car has, and then base ur decision on that. I dont know if u want show looks or want performance. But do some research, theres plenty of stuff out there and people out there that know wtf they're talking about.

It's not a question of whether it's worth it or not. But rather do you have the money, time and skill to put into it to do what you want to do.

The flurry of ignorant statements in this thread are over whelming. If your Escort is pre-97, you have boatloads of aftermarket for your car. If it's 97+ yeah, don't try.

I have known plenty of Escort owners running decently into the 12's, with the car looking beautiful as ever. This being my favorite. http://www.escortracing.com/2nd/frost/Adam.html

Look into it, before you take most of the advice from these people.
