he ran goat on 15" kumho 712s....not exactly a sticky tire like goats Drag Radials. He ran an 11.8 or 11.7 on the dyno with the BFG drag radials though. As for it being apart, we are waiting on a tranny. That truck has eaten' too many stock trannies and he needs to order a quaife or something else. You are more than welcome to donate parts and or labor if you would like to get it running faster

 

damn the mustang dyno 1/4 mile et's are that accurate eh?
he only made like 280whp on that dyno that day, and i ran an 11.2@119 on the same mustang dyno...
not doubting the truck.
its a turbo vr, so yeah its fast. hope to see what it really runs...
i really run mid 12's... but i guess ill make the 11.2 claim...

Edit:: the truck needs a tranny right? 02a with a vr bell housing.

i mean if the casing is still fine im sure a 3.39 gear set isnt hard to come by.
i mean the stock tranny will hang at 500+wheel.
and according to the dyno he is only make a cunt hair over half of that.

one last edit... if john wants to get the truck back and running contact mark... he has the 3.647 gear set which is the same gear set in the vr corrado's
im sure he would let the gear set go for like 100 bucks or maybe even 50 buckes.... hell if you have a diff and an 02a bell housing he has the casing and all... slap the diff in, put the bell housing on and throw the tranny in.

 

my volkswagen is pretty fast!!! own a silver corrado!! for the guy with the gls!!! you might want to got turbo if any thing!!!! i have a 96 gti also and know quite a bit about them!!!! so if you need help with anything just hit me up!!!!!

I don't know much about the newer water cooled ones but the older air-cooled ones can be extremely fast.
